Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. We were about to walk past but I saw the sign at the top of the lane and had to go in as it's been recommended previously. We had a tea and a piece of cake each, which we enjoyed outside while watching the horse riding lessons in the sun. The ladies were lovely and super helpful. Will definitely be back.

Put your blinkers on before entering this place because it's so hard to resist the sweet treats on offer. The cakes and apple pie look scrumptious. We had a traditional breakfast which was great.

Out cycling with a friend we stopped for refreshments. For £10.50 we had 2*coffees, 1*sausage roll, a cinnamon roll & a huge ham salad baguette. Very good value. A lovely tidy cafe with friendly staff hidden away in the grounds of Squirrels Riding School. Could do with larger signage on the road & in the village as easy to miss.

Update 15 April 23. Went for breakfast after a walk. Big breakfast option including beverage plus 2 orange juices, £21. Bug breakfast comprised of 2 x bacon, egg, sausage, hash browns, toast and beans, mushrooms and tomatoes. Plus tea or coffee £8.50. Bloody excellent value. Took my sausages home for the dog as a treat. I ate the rest! A little gem, tucked away, overlooking the Squirrels Riding School. Used as a pit stop from a long walk. Open 7 days a week, not sure of hours though. Food freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Shall definitely be going back. I had a bacon and egg sandwich, my friend, dippy eggs with soldiers, 3 cups of tea and an orange juice, £16.

Tucked away but well worth finding! Big breakfast was amazing . £8 for 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes…oh and the warm buttered toast. ‘Dog breakfast’ was an added bonus for our dog. Staff really lovely and service quick. Will definitely be going back!
